"CHRIST"
Christ
This latest piece
of art "Christ" was carved from a piece of wood. This piece was an incredible
experience for Vincent. When Vincent received a piece of wood that was
cut down from his son-in-law's property, the image of Christ was reflected
in the wood itself. Vincent explains, "The image was all there, all I
had to do was follow the image's reflection when I carved this piece."
Before this piece was carved, other's have also testified seeing the
image of Christ in the wood before Vincent ever laid a chisel to it.

inspiration to Vincent through a conference held at St. Luke's Church
in Akron, OH.
Master Sculptor
Vincent J. DeFilippo
Back in the late
70's Vincent along with his family was privileged to have a private audience
with the
modern day Saint Mother Teresa. This experience impacted Vincent's life
in such a way that he wanted to honor Mother Teresa by capturing her in

Vincent is compared
to being as a master with his dolls as Disney
was to animation. Most dolls that Vincent has created with Ideal is now
owned by Mattel.
